We're going on the Valor for our honeymoon in December.

 

I LOVE the food in the dining room. I'm gluten-free, and they pulled off some amazing stuff for me last time (mmmm...crab cakes).

 

Does anyone know if they can do the same thing in the steakhouse? I'd hate to book it, then learn I'd be better off in the dining room.

 

Is the steakhouse worth the money in general?

Should not be a problem. When you make the reservation tell them and when you get there ask to speak to the chef.

 

We go like every other cruise and think the extra cost of $ 30 is worthwhile.

 

Remember you are already paying for a very nice meal in the DR.

Lately it depends upon our tablemates in DR. If we like them generally we do not do the steak house.

 

However it is worth doing at least once for the experience.
