Beach open late?

We will be in Cozumel in June and have scheduled a dolphin encounter at Chankanaab at 2:30. Our ship does not leave until 8 and we want to go to a nice beach after the dolphins. I noticed that some beaches close a 5. Any of the beach resorts open later? We were hoping to find an all-inclusive one with some activities for my 4 year old daughter.

Every beach club I know here closes at 5-ish because it gets dark not long after that...6-ish. Why not just stay at Chankanaab with your little one?

I guess we could, but I have heard the beach there is not that great. We were looking for someplace we could sit on the beach and have a drink or two. I gets dark at 5-6PM in the summer? I guess I will have to come up with something else to do in the late afternoon.

Didn't realize that you'd be here in the summer...the sun sets about 7-8 then. My suggestion is to head down to Paradise Beach for some late afternoon fun. Very kid friendly, clean and best of all...great drinks!
