funfun8800 Posted July 22, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2011 We have a group going on the Dawn May 2012. Does anyone know if NCL offers an alcohol card like a soda card? I thought I had read where everyone in the group has to agree to it, but can't seem to locate it. I'd like to know current costs and what it does/doesn't include for alcohol. We are starting to plan early.. :) Thanks
bakerintn Posted July 22, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2011 NCL used to have a .pdf file on their website that covered this, but that link is now broken. Here is the broken link as a start: http://www.ncl.com/csimages/299/431/BeveragePackage.pdf Check with your travel agent....as I remember it, it required a minimum of 20 adults and there were two levels, one with wine / beer only the other all liquor. The liquor that was covered was their "well" liquor.

funfun8800 Posted July 26, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted July 26, 2011 Thank you so much!!! Just talked w/ my PCC she didn't even know about it.. Going to explore that option! She's going to see if she can get an all inclusive list of what's covered under each plan and the differences.
cruisingisfun3 Posted July 26, 2011 #5 Share Posted July 26, 2011 we checked into this for our cruise early this year, the other catch is you have to have 20 people to buy the liquor card and the remaining guess in your group has to purchase the soda card. i think for our 7-day cruise it would have been $256 per person. i know it is based on how many days your cruise is. Good Luck we did not get enough people. enjoy your cruise!
beachchick Posted July 27, 2011 #6 Share Posted July 27, 2011 And it must be an officially booked group, not just a bunch of passengers who get together and decide to call themselves a group. beachchick
SFO-F/A Posted July 27, 2011 #7 Share Posted July 27, 2011 YIKES, I keep thinking of the Spring Break cruisers who abused this to the max.
aelittleb Posted July 27, 2011 #8 Share Posted July 27, 2011 you must be an official group with a min of 20 adults, and all adults in the group (no matter if theres 20 or 60) must purchase the package. so its an all or nothing kind of thing.
