VABeachPeach Posted August 2, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2011 Hi All, We are due to dock in Athens on Fri, Nov. 4th from 7am to 6pm. Have already been to the Acropolis & Plaka and will be doing an a long private tour in Ephesus, so I thought we'd head to Aegina for lunch. Only problem is that I can't seem to find a single ferry scheduled for that day on any of the recommended websites...not even a hydrafoil. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :D
Vrilissia Posted August 7, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 7, 2011 Aegina is one of the closest Islands to Piraeus so finding a ferry will be easy enough but as yet the schedule hasn't been posted by any company. EDIT: I just checked several sites and none have any timetables past end of October - the Hydrofoil takes 40 minutes and normal ferry about 1h20m I used "ferry boat schedule Piraeus to Aegina" as the search term in Google.
