Does anyone know if HAL still provides free a shuttle bus from Piazzala Roma to the pier on embarkation day?

Does anyone know if HAL still provides free a shuttle bus from Piazzala Roma to the pier on embarkation day?

Last Sep there was no shuttle for us. Others on different cruises reported a shuttle for $5/p/direction, charged to your room, on the full day after embarkation, but we didn't get that either. Now your best bet is the People Mover from the west corner of P'le Roma for 1 Euro pp, then a walk to the terminal. For those who can't do the walk we've heard a taxi costs 10 Euro plus tip.

You're welcome - but I think I should clarify: I meant that a taxi from P. Roma to the ship terminal costs 10 Euro, not a taxi from the mid-way stop of the People Mover to the ship.

 

Hope you enjoy the N.A. and that itinerary as much as we did. That's now our favorite ship! :)
