Luckyroot Posted March 25, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2005 We're sailing in 4 weeks on the Century. I've been watching the X website, and Sky Suite availability. Right now we're in a Century suite (aft balcony cabin). I've been told the balcony is rather small, and have been watching SS availability in case we decide to upgrade at the pier. X had been offering guarantee booking on the suite category for a few weeks now. They also listed Sky Suites and one Century suite for booking (at a higher price). Today, ALL suites show as sold out. SO my question is......do you think, because they were taking bookings for guarantees, that the suites relly ARE sold out now as it says on the website? It used to say they were all sold out earlier, but then suites started popping up as available on the website. I'm not even sure I want to give up the aft balcony, but if it's truly as small as I've been told, I might consider a Sky if the price is right. gene624 Posted March 27, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2005 Go for what you want! I have never had any luck with the guarantee deals and no longer do them. I doubt the difference in cost is that much anyway!
kcbbqguru Posted April 6, 2005 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2005 You feel the boat rocking alot more in the aft cabins vs. the middle cabins on the ship, My inlaws where in one in may this year and they felt every wave and all kinds of motor noise,
