Drury Inn

We will be cruising out of NOLA in 9 days and we are staying at Drury Inn the night before. Some in my group are wondering if we were able to go on the roof (since they have the pool up there) as the Triumph is coming in to port, will we be able to see it from where we are? No one in the group has ever been to NOLA before so this port is all new to us. We usually cruise out of Galveston. Has anyone done this before?

It's an obstructed view. You will be able to see the whale tail but not too much else from the rooftop if I remember correctly. There are a lot of buildings between the hotel and the port. But we enjoyed the rooftop area.
