Laptop/PDA wireless question

Has anybody tried to sync Avantgo using the wireless in the atrium. Either independently using the PDA wifi or through the laptop itself? Did it work? Any special setup tips? I'd like to be able to keep up with the world while lounging around someplace. Thanks
