Best Time for Arrival @ Seattle Bell St Pier

We will be cruising to Alaska on the Infinity in May (flying in from Boston the day before) and have read all the comments on CC about how disorganized embarkation can be at the Bell St. Pier. We've cruised out of Boston, NYC, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, arriving at the pier around 11am -- never had this experience. Definitely want to avoid it in Seattle !! What is the best time to arrive ?

I have only cruised out of that location once, but we didn't notice any problems. I think we didn't get there until 12 or so, maybe 12:30. Too many stops on the way down at stores & I forgot some stuff at my house so we had to head back once.

There was a line in the cruise center but it moved pretty quickly. A porter walked up immediately as we were dropped off and took our bags.
