Need help with excursions

I'm a first-time cruiser and headed to the Adriatic on the Seaborn Spirit in Sept. I was told that Cruise Critic can help me find excursions NOT booked through Seaborn that are a fraction of the price and just as good, if not better. Thoughts? Thanks in advance for the guidance.

Lots of good advice here. Suggest you check your destinations under Ports of Call and see what others have said. Then do a search here for the ports as well. Is there a Roll Call for your cruise? That might also help.

 

Depending on your age and mobility, many here just like to go into town and do things on their own, sans a tour. The shopping with the Chef tour to a market is free, too.

 

However, many shore excursions sponsored by Seabourn are reasonable, and with a total passenger count of 206, it's not a crowd and crush scene.
