Port Canaveral back to Orlando transporation options

We're going on a Mariner cruise in June and planning to rent a car for a couple of days pre-cruise. My question is how easy is it to shuttle back to the rental car office when your cruise is over. Coming in seems less of a wildcard as we'll already have our car but with everyone getting off at about the same time and heading out, I'm more concerned with getting the car to get us back to the airport.

Anyone who has done this? Can you let me know how it worked for you?

Others--would it be better to do a shuttle or other mode of transportation back. It's 3 of us and our flight doesn't leave until early evening or late afternoon (can't exactly remember the time) so I'm not worried about missing the flight.

Thanks in advance for any help/advise you have!

Cindi, we did 2 one-way rentals this past October for our DCL cruise and didn't have any problems getting the Hertz shuttle once we got off the ship. Not sure about RCCL (this will be our first) but DCL had a serperate area setup for the rental car shuttles.

I Read Someone Mention Using A Company Called " Allinonelimo"

Service There In Cape Canaveral. Good Rates. Any Comments On Them? This Could Be An Option. Hope Someone Has Used Them. Thanks For Letting Me Butt In. I Was Wondering The Same Thing As You When I Read This Somewhere Else. Thanks.

Thanks everyone for your input. Our first choice is to rent a car to go back and it sounds like it won't be too much of a hassle so we'll proceed.

Gotta love these boards!

Cindi,

We rented a car to return to MCO from the Mariner. It was hassel free. One big recommendation - choose a car rental company that has a return right at MCO instead of having to leave the airport for a drop off. Avis and Budget have terminal drop offs. Hertz does not, and this makes your return process much longer. We learned this the hard way last year. This year, we used Avis and it was a snap.
