ZAMOST Posted March 29, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2005 Have just booked a 7 day cruise to Bermuda on the Zenith, with a few days before deposit required. Any sense of the number of young adults on this cruise? Two children ages 19 and 23 will be traveling with us, and the 25 year old will try to make it. Even if not many on the ship itself, I would assume a pretty active nightlife in Bermuda itself. Not that we don't want to spend every waking moment with our children, but perhaps some alone time would be enjoyable as well.
celbercrz333 Posted April 10, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 10, 2005 Believe it or not, we were in Bermuda in October 2003. They shut everything down at 5pm. That is why you arrive by cruise ship. Once the town is closed down and all the residents go home, you can still party on the ship! I guess Bermudians have learned a life lesson that Americans just can't seem to grasp. Family. Making a buck isn't as important as families eating dinner together and spending time together. Whatever you wish to see or buy while in Bermuda, do it early. Maybe we Americans are missing something? -Jo
