Port or Starboard Side?

We are in the process of planning a 7 day Canada/New England Cruise for next year on the Caribbean Princess. We are planning a balcony room and wonder which side of the ship we should book for the best view while in the ports. Is there a preferred side? The ports are Boston, Bar Harbor, Newport, Halifax, and St. John. Thank you

It depends on where you embark on your travels, let us know. Quebec or new york

If leaving from NY, the starboard side will have view of the Lady.

 

While in port, either side would be fine, as the ship may actually dock in any direction, and two of your ports are tenders (Bar Harbor & Newport). :)
