Best beaches on western

Sailing on fos on January 8. Would like to know the closest beaches to ports. Don't want to book excursions in these ports when we can can get there ourselves easily. Thanks for your help in advance!:)

The best beach island is Grand Cayman, also some nice beaches on Cozumel. You will get a lot more response to this if you post on the individual boards for your ports of call.. there are boards for Cozumel, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Belize, Honduras (Roatan) and Costa Maya!

As Caroline saod you want to post in the destinations forum. I would also recommend the individual forums on TA.

 

But some ideas -

 

Grand Cayman - we taxi to the Reef and enjoy Seven Mile Beach and a great burger. Rum Point is also a good choice, and the stingray sandbar is a must once.

 

Cozumel has some very nice beaches, also the best snorkeling at Palancar Reef.

 

West Bay on Roatan for relaxing on one end or more activity at Bananarama. Hire driver to go to West End to shop, then water taxi to West Bay.

 

Belize has some excellent excursions, to snorkel use the ship excursions due to tendering.

 

Jamaica's Doctors Cave Beach is one of the most beautiful we've seen in our travels, and we've been around. Margaritaville next door with a fast waterslide into the ocean.
