Baltimore VIP embarcation

First time sailing from Baltimore next month. How does the VIP embarcation work at that terminal?

I know things change from time to time but this is what I remember from our New Year's cruise on the Pride (2010):

- we were met at the terminal door by the port attendant to whom I gave my sail pass and passports;

- once checked at the door, the attendant escorted us to the security check in area

- a Carnival rep met us as we completed the security screen...she introduced herself and walked us to the VIP check -in room; it really is just

a small room but it was nice to be able to sit in the big comfy chairs while

the agent went over documents, created sign/sail cards, etc. I believe just outside of the room was a table for refreshments if you wanted

- as soon as we were done, another Carnival rep walked us to the large 'holding' room to await boarding

- after a 10-15min wait, VIP's were led to the embarkation picture area (after handicapped pax) and then on to the ramp where you board the ship

I was actually surprised by the personal attention...it was a nice way to start our vacation!:) Hope you have a pleasant experience and a great cruise!

BTW: sorry for the sloppy breaks in this message...my computer is updating something again:eek:
