We are a group of 8 that would like to go this beach for a few hours, if we take a bus or taxi and get dropped off are there are things to do in this area like lunch and shops?

We went by the beach when we visited the monastery in the area. There are restaurants, we ate at one some distance up the hill, but didn't see much in the beach area.

The monastery is worth a visit.

I too stopped at the beach area after viewing the Monastery and Palace. There is a small pale to buy snacks and drinks right next to the beach. The beach itself is small but they have rides to the caves. Here are 2 photos I took.
