Lucayan hike/kayak, no beach time wanted

We will be in docked in Freeport for only 7 hours and would like to hike/ kayak in Lucayan National Park. We are not interested in having beach time and would rather spend more time at the park or go directly back to the ship. Is this something we could do on our own? We are open to going with a private tour operator if anyone has recommendations. TIAA!
