Voyager room question

Hi, we're sailing on the Voyager for the first time next year (Crystal Symphony several times in the past, but this is a great itinerary) and wondered if any Voyager loyalists can tell us ...why we would NOT want to book on Deck 10 RIGHT behind the bridge. (Or why we would!) We've secured a room but have not yet put down the deposit. This is in the Mediterranean in May so would wouldn't expect rough seas. Thanks!

It is actually a nice location. You would not be under the pool, above or below a lounge (although the Observation Lounge is on deck 11. . . . it appears to be further forward than you would be).

The only reason not to book it that I can think of is the movement of the ship. We were in suite 701 on the Voyager and felt the motion of the ocean forward and back as well as side to side. The higher up you go, the more you feel it. We could also hear when the anchor was moved (not a big deal).

If I were booking the category you are looking at, I would pick one of the suites on Deck 9 in the 918 - 927 range. It would be quieter and more stable. Just my opinion. The Voyager is our favorite ship -- hope you enjoy your cruise.:)

Thank you very much. Unfortunately, there were only THREE cabins left in this category on this cruise! We actually were ship forward on the Symphony, in a very similar location, and loved it. Again - it was the Mediterranean, longer cruise, with sea days, and motion was never a problem, so we'll see. (The other cabins were available were far aft, so given the vibration comments, this will likely be our choice unless we choose a higher category -- which is not likely!
