CRUISING71 Posted October 2, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2011 We are booked on the Bodden's tour for Roatan, and I know they will stop, so we can have authentic lunch. I am wondering how much does it cost for a plate of rice and chicken or whatever they were serving? Can we eat lunch at Tabyana Beach?
Guest 2000 Posted October 3, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2011 While I am not well versed on prices.... Tabyana is part of West Bay Beach, anything you find about West Bay will apply. There are plenty of places to eat BUT everything on West Bay Beach is more expensive and most of the food is Americanized. If I were going out with a local tour guide I would ask him to take me to his favorite lunch spot. :)
Bookmarker Posted October 4, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 4, 2011 We ate at Celeste's at West Bay Lodge. It was really good. I had the baleada with the fish, mom had shrimp and our Bodden tour guide ordered the pork...I paid for his lunch too since he was so terrific. I don't have my travel book with me but I spent less than $40 for our food, drinks and tip. We would definitely eat here again. Our tour guide told us this is the baleada on the island and I have to agree with him. World Famous Baleada Made with fresh tortilla, black beans, jack cheese, fresh salsa made daily, sour cream, plus choice of meats below. Meat Options Lobster $9 Shrimp $8 Pulled Pork $7 Chicken $6 Grouper $8 “Like it Hot!” Jalapeno's on request
