tsb702 Posted October 7, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2011 Hey all, Hope everyone is well and looking forward to their cruises. I havent been on a cruise in some years now and was wondering if they do Halloween activities now? We are going on a short 3 day from 10/27 to 10/30 on Sensation for a highschool reunion. Can you guys let me know what your experiences have been, if you participated in any, etc. Thanks!;)
Colorado Kat Posted October 7, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 7, 2011 I've been told that Halloween parties this year will only be on 10/31. I'm bummed.
leaski Posted October 7, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 7, 2011 Unfortunately there will not be any Halloween festivities on your sailing because your cruise ends before the 31st. Carnival made the decision to discontinue all Halloween celebrations prior to the 31st. If your cruise includes the 31st, you will have a party. But I hope you have a great time on your cruise!!:D
jhale Posted October 7, 2011 #4 Share Posted October 7, 2011 Halloween activities (costume contests, parades, etc.) will only be held on the 31st. They may still have decorations up though, and you can always dress up and celebrate anyways.

DStarr06 Posted October 7, 2011 #7 Share Posted October 7, 2011 "Moving on, let’s talk about Halloween. Over the last few years we have held our Frightfully Fun events on the two cruises preceding the cruise that Halloween falls under. This year we will only be doing it on the 31st. The reason for this is because there was simply a lack of participation in the pre-Halloween cruises with only a handful of people taking part. Now maybe we could have done a better job in getting the message out but regardless this year the ships will be decorated in true Halloween spirit only on the cruises that have the 31st fall during it.
