Excursions in Harwich

We will be on the Sept. 18th sailing of the Westerdam. Does anyone have suggestions for excursions? We have spent 3 weeks in the London area and none of the ship's excursions interest. Has anyone taken the train to Ipswich or Cambridge? Open for any other suggestions. Thanks K.
