Rick Steves Med ports guidebook sale

In case anyone's interested, on Rick Steves' Facebook page today, there's a link to click and a code to enter to get his Med cruise ports book for $5. Shipping is $5. Just bought one. I think Canada postage is $8.

 

I've always used his guides for European trips so will be interested in what he says about going ashore in specific ports.

We like Rick's books too, but this one is pretty thin on ports and very heavy on general cruise information. It is a great book for first time cruisers and will be a nice new trend to respond in the future with more and more specific ports.

 

So be sure to check to see if he even covers the ports you will be visiting - he had to start somewhere but the bulk of the book is just general cruise info and not specific to ports as the title may imply.
