private tour suggestion - quick

Just booked a last minute cruise, so I'm having to set up everything quickly. Looking for recommendations for private tours to take me to the ruins.

 

To put it bluntly I HATE ship tours! Being loaded up like school kids, then herded around like cattle isn't my personal idea of fun.

We cancelled our shore excursion pre-booked with Carnival and registered with The Native Choice. Ivan is extremely good at answering emails! I hope this will be a good excursion. Anyone been on the Mayan Experience?

 

Am a bit worried about the weather though. Weather forecast predicts heavy storm and cool weather for next week.
