F22Smitty Posted November 23, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 23, 2011 Just got back Nov. 10th and it was up and down all cruise. It was the most fun I have had on a cruise in years, mainly due to the casino team and the guys and girls at the craps table. The dealers Lorenzo, Michale, Alan, Lee, Felix, and Maria were great and added a lot to the cruise. We had some good shooters and some throw it down the table players, but over all we had a good time. It was the same group every afternoon and every night. Know one new ever showed up to take the table over. We had a husband and wife that played the don't side the entire cruise and they shot there own dice. They made me a lot of points through the cruise. We also had a guy that was a true shooter and played the game the way it should be played, but his longest roll was probably 25 minutes. For me, my longest hand of the cruise was only about 20 minutes which just happened to be at 1:30 AM and I was the only guy at the table. I had $100 in chips and said what the hell. I think I threw a point of 5 and put $24 on 6 & 8, $20 on 4 & 9, and $10 on 10. I had been setting the 3's all week, but I just started wingin it how ever the dice game to me. When I realized my wife was falling asleep on the slot chair behind me and my run had reached it's end, I cashed out at $600 plus and gave the boys $50. Over all not a great craps cruise, but it sure was fun.

F22Smitty Posted November 28, 2011 Author #6 Share Posted November 28, 2011 Forgot to ask. What was the table minimum ? Table min was $5 with 2X odds. I think all Carnival ships are the same.

vettecruiser1 Posted November 30, 2011 #8 Share Posted November 30, 2011 They set the table min at $10 the whole cruise on the Triumph. I would play when the action was at the table but I refused to play by myself at that limit. I ask the boss and the casino manager to lower the limit and they refused. I then asked if they like having dealers stand around for hours with no action, they seem to careless. On the last day I informed the Casino manager that his tables were empty on average 3 hours a day, I played everynight for at least 4 hours and they could have had at least 3 more hours of my play if they would lowered the limits when the action was slow. Needless to say it was a company policy for $10 minimum which i then informed, that was strange since the Exctasy had a $5 min at all times. I did inform OPC about the Casino Manager and his actions. Also to note he would not rate my play unless I was playing $20 over the minimum not including the spread. Most rolls would have be waging in the $60 spread range and he would not rate.
