2 Beaches in 1 Day?

Will be in st Martin in Mar from 8-5 when there are 4 cruise ships in port. We know we'd like to check out Orient Beach but would like a plan for a second beach we can check out if we want more space or a quieter vibe. We will be traveling by cab.

 

We'd want the second beach to have clean restrooms, drinks available, and could do with or without chair rentals. Husband will need some shade. Also, we want to be sure that if we leave Orient Beach around noon or sooner that we have time to cab it to the second beach, spend a couple of hours and cab it back to the ship on time.

 

Grand Case & the beach where Karakter is both look nice but not sure of travel times; I know mid March will be very busy! Open to other beach suggestions as well. Thanks!

How about taking a taxi to Petitie Plage in Grand Case first and then taking a taxi to Orient after that. Petitie Plage fulfills all of your criteria for a beach. I would say that 30 minutes from the pier to Grand Case and 20 minutes from there to get to Orient and another 20-30 to get back to the pier with at least a half-hour buffer time allowance should do it.
