FYI E-mail Charge

Just thought I'd let you all know that if someone sends you an e-mail to the ship, you will be charged $2.50 on your account for each e-mail. Someone was having trouble accessing their own e-mail and had it e-mailed to the ship and told us about it. She was surprised with the charge. Then we go down to our room and there is an e-mail there saying they wanted to be the first one to e-mail us welcoming us to our cruise. Well it wasn't for us, it was for the person that would be in our cabin on the next week. We made sure we weren't charged for that. So unless it is an emergency or you really like spending money on useless e-mails, I would tell everyone not to e-mail the ship unless it is an emergency. Their brocures show the ship e-mail address but I don't recall reading there was a charge for it anywhere in the brocures.
