Big Ed Posted April 10, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2005 We will be in St. Thomas on the Dawn Princess in 2 weeks. We will shop a little and then take the tram to Paradise Point for drinks & view (and maybe lunch?) We have alot of time in port (7am to 6pm),and where are only two other ships in port, so it should not be to crowded. Does anyone have any other suggestions for another place for lunch. Thanks
The Islander Posted April 12, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2005 Hello Big Ed, Paradise Point is good for lunch. Sometimes they have live music; so nice add on during lunch and with the view... If you were going to be downtown I would suggest Glady's, Cuzzins or Lillians Grill so you could experience a little local food. ;) --Islander http://www.*****

Thanks The best places to eat are the ones which are away from the port and downtown... take a cab to Red Hook... it is a short ride. There are several places to eat which are a little cheaper and have much much better food. The Mahi-Mahi sandwich at Duffys Love Shack is about half the price of the one at Paradise Point and twice as big....and tastes wonderful. There are also several places to eat across the road from Duffys which are excellent. Bottom line, get away from the touristy area and experience the island.
