Sandy Point

Is it possible to walk along the beach from Sandcastle to Sandy Point? Any suggestions about Sandy Point?

I would love to know the answer to this as I was planning to do just that in a week or so!

My hubby and I have been wanting to do this too in about a week. We are coming in on Sunday the 26th on Celebrity. Sandy Point is next to the Vincent Mason Beach/pool and easy to access from there. My only concern was that it can be deserted and I was wondering how safe it would be to venture there on our own. If you are interested in getting a group together let us know.

Please, let us know how it went. We were in St Croix last January and Sandy Point only opens on Saturdays and we did not know if it was possible to walk all the way along the coast which is rather rocky with soft sand, so not so easy to walk. The beach beyond Sandcastle was rather deserted.

I have heard they paved the roads to sandy point so getting there should not be a problem as taxis should go there. I would hope?

If not then we will be walking to sandy point from Vincent Mason Beach as well.
