BD GTY.. Sorry I know it's been covered but ...

The search doesn't seem to be working.

 

We received our cruise docs at last but the cabin number is not on them it just says gty. We are sailing on the Dawn on May 16th and wondered if we will be able to find out our cabin number before we sail? We are coming over from England the day before so I don't know if they will be able to tell us before we travel.

 

Does anyone have any experience of this that they can share?

Most of the time, the cabin is assign If you give them a call Im sure by now they will have cabin for you. If not you will be assign it at the pier!

Just came back for our April 25th Dawn voyage.

 

We had booked a guarantee J inside deck 8 cabin. I called my travel agent every week till the last two weeks, then I called 2x week. I didn't find out our cabin till the wednesday before the cruise(they did upgrade us one level to an inside cabin on deck 9).

 

I had also called reaccomodations weekly from about 6 weeks out. They called me back the friday before the cruise and offered a 15 level upgrade for $275 each. We accepted it and went from inside 8 origially booked, to a mid ship balcony cabin on deck 10. Perfect room!!!!

 

You will love the Dawn!!! She was great!!
