Xmas in Cozumel

I was thinking of a Xmas cruise next year and the ship will be in Cozumel from 8am to 6pm and was wondering what was open that day. Thinking about hitting one of the beaches anyone been there this Xmas and could give me some info.

Cozumel's economy is based on tourism. Things WILL be open. If they know ships are going to be in port they will be ready to take the tourists money :)

 

We weren't there ON Christmas but on the 23rd (last week) and it was fun to see Xmas trees in paradise. (Okay, so I see that every year as a Floridian).

We have been there on Christmas and things don't open until noon, even then it is not everything. Even some of the excursions were cancelled.

 

This was a couple of years ago though.

We were at the Nachi Cocum Beach club on Dec. 24th. Rave reviews! It was fabulous.
