I'm from S. Florida where just about everything goes anytime of the year!! My question is this: If you take a cruise in early May, is it too soon to wear pastels?

Where are you cruising? I live in South Florida, too, and have gone to the Caribbean many times. Pastels are perfect. Actually, anything you'd wear "here" are pretty much perfect for the Caribbean. Now if you're crusing something else, that might be different.
