New Carnival Phone Rates

Just saw on John's FB page that all calls from cabin phones to shore will be $1.99 a minute, domestic or international. Does anyone have additional info? Any hidden fees, taxes, or charges. I'm kind of excited if this is true cause I'll be able to call my parents to check in on how my son is doing while we're away....much more affordable than what I hear the charges used to be!
