Sapphire Princess

We are planning on going in late October, has anyone been on this new ship or are planning on sailing on her this year. We would love to hear from other Princess cruisers. We are taking 2- 12 yr old boys. We have cruised with Disney and RCI. Thanks!

We were on the Saphire Princess in April, and enjoyed it so much. We did the 19 night trip from Osaka to Seatlle. I would go on her again she is really a beautiful ship. I know you will enjoy yourself. Happy Sailing, Joy

Just disembarked today. Wonderful cruise! Beautiful ship! Good food...good fun! My wife and I had a great time.

We enjoyed our trip, cruise and ship. It's a notch better than typical Princess but a notch less than Celebritiy. About the same as RC.

Will cruise on her again next March to the Mexican Rivera.

Just disembarked today. Wonderful cruise! Beautiful ship! Good food...good fun! My wife and I had a great time.

 

I'll be on this cruise in April and need to decide whether to use Princess transfer to airport or book on my own. Timing is critical since Delta moved up our deparature flight by 3 hours.

 

Did you use either of these methods? If so, could you tell me how it went -- i.e. where you picked up luggage, wait times, etc.

You will love the ship!

Re disembark if it's feasible you could use the express disembark.. taking your own luggage off??? We do that often.. it's a bit of a hassle but when the airlines do a "number" on you like this..... there are seldom any cruise line transports that early though (maybe 7:45 or so) but cabs always there.
