From a hotel in Tampa, what time can you see the Legend pulling into port?

I have done this twice on both our Legend and Inspiration cruises out of Tampa. When we were on the Legend, the ship went under about 4 am. On the Inspiration, it was a little earlier, around 3:30. It is almost exactly 2 hours from the Skyway to the port. The ship has to wait for the Harbor Pilot boat before going under the Skyway, so if you see the ship slowing, this is why. It is really impresive if you happen to have a balcony cabin but I saw it just fine from our OV too. You will know when you are getting close to the Skyway as you will start to see a lot of flashing channel markers to guide to the entrance of the bridge. You will also start to see some islands off shore- port side. This will be Ft Desoto and Egmont Key. When you see the lighthouse (it will be flashing), you know you are getting close.

Good luck to you. :)
