Carnival Dream

We loved the Dream. In fact we are sailing on her for a second time this year. I loved our cove balcony and the spa. I personally prefer the fish and chips over the pasta bar, but thats subjective. The casino was larger than on Conquest class and the smoke was better controlled. Anything in particular that you are wondering about?

We loved the Dream. The ship is beautiful! The incorporated gold flakes into the decor. It's very nice and clean. We didn't experience any problems with service, as a matter of fact they were great. We had Pedro & Santa in the dining room and they were very friendly. The food overall was good. I ordered grilled chicken at the beginning of the cruise and it was great. Toward the end of the cruise I ordered it again but this time it wasn't so good.

If you have the time and like eggs for breakfast go to the omelet station. The eggs on the buffet are from a mixture and taste very odd. We never had had lunch or dinner at the actual buffet. We tried the pasta bar and my husband actually ate there twice. He enjoyed it, I thought it was okay.

I would avoid the burrito bar. I couldn't even swallow the one bite I took because it was so bad. The quality of everything in it was very poor.

The bbq on the lanai is delicious! Don't miss it! The chicken quesadilla was to die for! My husband enjoyed the sushi. The burgers and fries are good and don't miss the deli sandwiches! We tried room service one day and the food arrived quickly and it was hot.

The shows were pretty good and we went to them every night. Punchliners comedy was pretty funny as well but arrive early or they will be at maximum occupancy. We didn't go to any of the bars or the casino. We did have some photos taken and they turned out VERY well. :) I think you will be pleased with the ship.

Splurge for the weekly spa pass. It's amazing! You get access to the thalasso pool (like a huge hot tub that isn't quite as hot), 2 steam rooms with heated tile loungers, a eucalyptus steam room, a walk through cold jungle shower, a relaxation room with padded loungers and water and the VIP locker area that has large showers and professional hair dryers. :D

Hello,

Thanks for the information..we took our first five cruises on carnival..including getting married on the legend two years ago..we were on celebrity eclipse last november and really liked it, but prices and cruise dates just don't work this year...food is always hit and miss most of the time we get good food and service..we also enjoyed the new trend on most ships on having a comedy club..as we watched very funny people like Thomas Brown a Tampa native. but like i said earlier its about the dates and PRICE !..Thanks

we know some of the basic carnival perks..but we never sailed the new line of ships like the dream..and some things like best levels for cabins ..cause i was looking at a empress level aft balcony cabin..also are the cove balcony really a good deal. like i said below due to our jobs most of the time we are limited to a certain time of year.
