waterpark near miami?

I am staying in miami for 5 nts and would love to hit a waterpark, does anyone know if there are any? how far away from miami beach are the waterparks , not looking to go all the way to orlando. thanks

When are your travel dates?

 

The Paradise Cove Water Park at CB Smith Park in Pembroke Pines reopens March 9. Pembroke Pines is about 45 minutes - 1 hour from Miami Beach.

About 1-1/2 hours north of Miami Beach is Rapids Water Park in West Palm Beach, which reopens March 12.

thankyou for this information, I think rapids looks cool, paradise cove looks like its more for kids. I am staying on march 1st-4th and then 11th to 13th so I can go on march 12th when it first opens if we get a hire car.
