    Need help with Shanghai Hotels

If you have spare time to do some sight-seeing, then choose a hotel in the city center; all the major hotels have English speaking staff. I have stayed at: Hyatt on the Bund Westin Bund Radisson Blu (at People's Square)

    Ft Lauderdale Water Taxi Hotels

Also check out the Residence Inn by Marriott / Il Lugano. The northernmost water taxi stop is next door at Bokampers.

    Fort Lauderdale Hotel

Check out Lauderdale by the Sea. Lots of Mom and Pop hotels, and in early December, the prices can still be reasonable. Lots of bars and restaurants, and 20 mins from Port Everglades. Sent from my iPad using Forums

    Best seafood restaurant in Miami

Garcia’s would be my choice. Mom and Pop restaurant, and they have their own boats that go out daily for their catch. The chain restaurants get most of their “fresh” fish from food supply companies like Sysco, GFS, etc. Sent from my iPad using Forums

Any NEWS on VV? Please post it here...

I agree, however Steiner is operating the spa onboard; they are the same concessionaire as onboard RCCL.

Day trip Ft. Lauderdale to The Keys

On the way to the Keys, stop in the Homestead / Redlands area. There is a great DIY route to drive around to visit a number of little gems. My fave places to stop: Robert is Here (usually my 1st stop - milk shakes, fruit stand, local goods, etc.) Fruit & Spice Park (take the tram tour - 1,000's of different fruits and spices from around the world) RF Orchids Knaus Berry Farm and Bakery (baked goods - open November - April) Schnebly Winery (wine made from local fruit (avocados, mangoes, etc.) and craft beer) Here is the link for more info, so that you can plan your route: http://www.redlandriot.com/Rallye.html From Homestead / Redlands, you can continue on your way to the Keys, or you can do the reverse and make stops along the way, on the way back north. Key Largo: Blonde Giraffe Key Lime Pie Co. - get a whole pie or a slice on a stick. Alabama Jack's (lunch) Islamorada: Robbie's (feed the tarpon, local crafts vendors). Unfortunately, the Tiki Bar at the Postcard Inn (formerly Holiday Isle) was wiped out during Hurricane Irma, but it is being rebuilt.

    Must-go restaurants in Miami

I agree, it is a great little gem of a restaurant. I believe it is on the Miami Spice list too!

    Must-go restaurants in Miami

Miami Spice Month runs through September 30. It’s a fantastic way to have lunch or dinner, at a fixed price, at some of the best restaurants in Miami / Miami Beach. http://www.miamiandbeaches.com/special-offers/monthly-deals/miami-spice-month Some of my faves are Seaspice, Area 31, Bazaar, River Yacht Club .... and so much more. Uber in Miami

Sorry you had such a bad experience, but how did that happen? With Uber or Lyft, you simply enter your destination, and then the driver has it on his/her GPS. Sent from my iPad using Forums

    Anyone Fly Alitalia FCO-BOS?

Just flew the Genoa - Rome - Miami route, and I was not impressed with Alitalia at all. The plane was very dated, musty, blah food. The attendants were not very friendly, although I do speak some Italian, they just seemed so annoyed if you asked for something. Sent from my iPad using Forums

    Little Havana, Miami

The Main Street in Little Havana is SW 8th Street (Calle Ocho). There is really no other place to visit, as everything off of SW 8th Street is residential. There are a couple of good places to visit, Ball and Chain, and Cubaocho Museum & Performing Arts Center. There is a culinary tour that may be of interest: https://www.miamiculinarytours.com/tour/little-havana-food-tour/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIw-vR25e53AIVTSOBCh3tDwBHEAAYASAAEgI4R_D_BwE Sent from my iPad using Forums

Not exactly. The aft section of the ship (the section that has the diesel engines) was constructed at a shipyard in Romania. It is on a barge en route to the shipyard in Italy, where it will be joined together with the current section.

    Genoa hotels

Wonderful! I’m there on business, traveling with a group, and really only have 1 night free, the night before I fly home, but looking forward to it! I’ve only passed through Genoa on my previous visit, on my way to Santa Margherita. Sent from my iPad using Forums
