cruisetina Posted January 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2012 I have problems to decide on which tour to go. I am a snokel beginner and need to ladder to get into the water and would prefer calmer conditions. Where is more fish and corals to see?

scubagirrl Posted April 6, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 6, 2012 Both boats have ladders to get you back on board. Sea Fun is a bit more of a party experience. They go to a reef just north of Athol Island. It's a bit more colorful than the sea gardens, others on the boat will be participating in other activities such as sea scooters, kayaks etc. This may be a bit too "busy" for a beginner. Rainbow Reef goes to the Sea gardens at the mouth of the harbour at Athol Island. Lots of colorful fish and some coral. This is a good beginner spot, but you won't see an great variety of fish. It's still great for beginners.
