Cruisin' In June..Best Beach + More!

Hi All,

 

Hubby and I are taking our first cruise in June for our 12 anniversary..

I had a few questions about St. Thomas..

 

What is a nice beach that would not be over crowded but does not have any nudists on it?

 

I have always wanted to scuba dive and found the Discover Scuba that is offered on the island. Has anyone taken this course and what did you think of the dive and amount of time you had to dive as well?

 

We are only going to have a day at St. Thomas and I am not sure what the best way will be to spend it. Would there be enough time to take the Discover Scuba and have plenty of time to enjoy other aspects of the island?

 

One more thing...what is your opinon of the Jeep or ATV island rides?

Hello Julie,

 

Congrats on the anniversary.

 

Public nudity is illegal in the VI so no nude beaches. Secret Harbor would be a nice choice.

 

No ATVs here. You can rent a jeep or a car or scooters.

 

You can't pack to much into one day. You can do an intro dive and an island tour or beach time. How much did you have in mind that you wanted to do? The Discover dive will take a couple hours.
