Dream - Aft balcony question

We have decided on the Dream for this March and before we choose a stateroom, I wanted to see if anyone had experience with the aft balcony rooms on deck 6 (upper) which are right above the Burgundy lounge. If you stayed in one of these rooms, did you have noise from the lounge below ? Thanks !

@ AThankfulHeart and others

re. cabin and deck info we found this great site where you can get info on every room and deck and ship @ http://deckplangenius.com/CarnivalValor.aspx

This is on the Valor, but just go to home page and pick your ship!! It tells you the good and bad of all floors/rooms etc. and much more!

cruiserooms.com is good, but depends on people posting their room pics so not ev. room is available to view.

Deck six/upper is considered the worse!! above casino, disco, teen club etc. loud late-AM, so if noise and sleep's a prob. avoid. On larger ships than the valor there's a buffer between upper ad noisey deck and ? above. It will clarify. Unfortunately we booked Valor 3/17 on that deck but over the isleway and Formality shops and hope that subdues some noise. Spring Break so fat chance to chg. rooms lol we'll bring ear plugs if needed and notebook with soft music playing! We booked the Valor again in Aug and yep it was 2 numbers away port side. What are the odds :) ? We were able to call back shortly after and get Empress/Mid ship!! Whew! Balcony, we would've been mad, but had found the web site in time. Happy Cruisen everyone ;)
