CMcG Posted January 28, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2012 Wondering what sort of shelves or drawers are available in the closet. We are going to Alaska in May and will have more folded things than things to hang (although we could hang them if necessary). Appreciate your help Cheryl
Kirsten T Posted January 28, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2012 One long shelf is on top of main "walk in" closet - pretty tall, but still usable. There's a tall closet with doors next to it containing the safe and usually life jackets, but that has a lot of shelves. You can store the jackets under the bed to make more room. That's usually our main storage area. Night stands next to the beds have I think 2 drawers, the desk has a drawer, and there's a lot of storage on and under the counter that the TVs sit on. Loads of space. Just another reason to love Coral/Island! Cheers, Kirsten
GloriaF Posted January 28, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 28, 2012 We went to Alaska on the Island's sister, Coral, in a balcony cabin. The storage space was adequate for us, and a mini suite should have more. There is a night stand on one side of the bed with two drawers, and the vanity/desk on the other side of the bed with three drawers. In addition the closet is good size with a shelf above the hanging rod. In the dressing area is a tall narrow cabinet containing the safe and about five shelves. Princess provides all the hangers you need, just request more from your room steward if you find you need to hang more clothing. Alaska is amazing! Enjoy your cruise!!
