NOLA parking: need to depart cruise quickly

We usually take our time getting off a cruise and had planned to do a park and stay hotel for our cruise next week. Turns out that our son (and his friend that is joining us) made the all star baseball team and there is a game back in Atlanta the night we return from the cruise. They have changed to game time an hour later so the boys can be there.

So the most important task is getting off the ship quick and driving strait home. From my research I know there are sometimes lines getting into the cruise terminal parking but what about leaving? Should we do Fulton or Machu Picchu instead?

I would use the terminal parking. We have had no problem getting out quickly.

we just got off voyager yesterday (feb 4th) we parked at the fulton st garage and we off the ship and in our car by 8:30.

Got off Voyager yesterday. Used early departure and we were in our car by 7:45. $16 a day for parking.
