Kon Tiki Beach

We were there a couple years ago and took a taxi directly from the pier. I would guess it took us 20-30 min and cost around $25 (guesstimate). I would recommend walking off the pier and over the pontoon bridge which will reduce the travel time since the taxis can't cross this bridge and have to drive quite a way to get to the other bridge. Probably would be cheaper as well. The walk across the pontoon bridge is probably a 5-10 min walk and takes you into Willemstad which is really nice and where a lot of the shops and restaurants are located.

I think Kon Tiki has been renamed and I can't remember what the new name is but it's a man made beach that is protected by a jetty of rocks. I thought it was a great place to relax. They played relaxing music and had padded beds and a place to get food and drinks.

Good luck.
