Just wondering how far it is to Hell from the end of 7 mile beach? And theirs no restaurants in Hell, right? Oh that sounds and reads aweful. Sorry. Anyway their is just three shops and a post office there right?

Yup, not much there..we took the public bus out, maybe a 20 minute drive, walked around for perhaps 20 minutes, mailed our postcards and caught a bus back to 7 mile beach. Maybe 10 minutes back to the beach. Were just there beginning of February. Looking back, I'd skip Hell, but for the passport stamp and postcards.

Ditto. We took a bus to Hell. Personally, I was ready to go after 10mins (not even actually). However, wife felt it was an easy and cheap stop.

After Hell, it was a quick trip to Cemetery Beach on the mini-bus.

Hell is quite the tourist trap but if you really want to go, it's a quick and easy transition back to SMB.

It'd be a longish walk. Not sure if I'd consider it worth the time and effort to do so versus taking a minibus. There are two buses: #1 line and #2 line that run a fairly similar circuit up and back along SMB. I think the only different between the two is the route they take closer into Georgetown.

Thanks Milhouse. We definitely want to stop at some snorkel spots along SMB...but still leave time to head over to Smith Cove for the afternoon. I think I'll skip Hell for a little bit of Heaven at Smith Cove. ;)

Does it cost anything to get your passport stamped in Hell? What are the hours; do you have to go by a certain time in order to get your passport stamped?
