Putz Posted April 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2005 I enjoy a Sambuca (licorice liqueur) in the evening and was hoping to be able to enjoy one on our balcony. I notice the bon voyage gift packages don't include Sambuca. Is there any way I'm going to be able to get a Sambuca in our stateroom or will I have to try smuggling a bottle on board? Can you order a drink from one of the bars and have it delivered to your stateroom? Unfortunately, the only liquor I like is Sambuca, so for me, there's no other option!! CINDON Posted April 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2005 You don't have to "smuggle it", just take it in your carry-on on don't broadcast it. Just be discreet about it and you will not have a problem at all.
Putz Posted April 21, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted April 21, 2005 Thanks, CINDON. I'll just quietly pack my own bottle. Lynn

Wileyd577 Posted April 23, 2005 #5 Share Posted April 23, 2005 In fact you don't even have to be that discreet. IM just off the Mille. In our stop at St Thomas I boarded the ship with 5 litters of my favorite liquer all boxed up in a Riise logo carry on. I stopped and spoke with several officers after they x rayed the box. I then took it right up to the room. I was asked by several passengers on the lift how I got by with it. They didn't ask and I didn't tell...................Cheers DT
