Tell me a little about the internert on LOS?

Recommended Posts

The cost for Wi-Fi access through your own laptop is:

Base rate is $.65 per minute or choose from one of our prepaid packages:

$35 for 60 minutes

$55 for 100 minutes

$75 for 150 minutes

$100 for 250 minutes

$150 for 500 minutes

The cost is the same if you use their computers.

LOS=Liberty or Legend?

Liberty has WIFI throughout the ship, while on Legend it´s only available at hotspots not including cabins.

Yes the speed has improved over the years, but it´s still slow but I always find the WiFi to be faster than their computers.

Satellite reception can be spotty in certain areas, so don´t count on 24/7 availability.

if referring to Liberty I agree with the above poster, I find WiFi better than on the RCI terminals in the Internet centre.

Only had a couple of issues during a 14 night transatlantic no doubt due to coverage issues, none on a 5 night Mediterranean sailing.

If you are a C&A member, you may get some free minutes in your welcome back booklet.

on my liberty cruise feb18-feb 23 internet was very S L O W . no IT personnel in inter cafe to assist and almost every computer was intermittingly down. had to call guest relations a few times to send someone to help. the sea pass card did not work in some of the computers and many people were frustrated. anyway it was a great cruise!!!

Liberty of the Seas. I'll have a laptop and phone on hand. Don't plant to use them too much but it will be nice to be able to use from the cabin!

Thanks for the replies! Any other observations most appreciated too! :)

Does Liberty have internet access through the cabin television? It did not last time I was on board, but that was a few years ago.

On Allure I found the connection better on the TV than with my phone.
