What are my chances of a visit to the engine room and or the bridge? We are

travelling on the Star Princess April 24. First cruise. Can't wait.

Trying writing a note to the Captain for a bridge visit. Drop the note at the Purser's Office for delivery. Sometimes it can be arranged.

 

Damn near impossible to get down into the engine room, unless you make friends with the Chief Engineer in one of the bars.

alas because of the world we now live in they are next to impossible. The engine room has been off limits for years because of insurance reasons. I have been on the bridge during sailaway but only because i know the captain or because i have taken 70 cruises with Princess. Definitely speak with the Purser if there is any chance of arranging something.
