Anchorage Restaurant Recommendation

Hilton Garden Inn on a Monday night. We don't get our car until the next morning so we're w/o a car that 1st evening.

Golden Corral Buffet

Lone Star Steakhouse (across a busy divided road)

TGI Friday's

Appleby's

Cattle Company (steakhouse)

We are arriving at about 5:30 and staying at Captain Cook... anything nearby for dinner?

We will not have a car.

 

There are probably a dozen or more restaurants within a few blocks of the Captain Cook.

The Captain Cook has several restaurants

Simon and Seafort's is about a block away.

 

If you just want fast food, there is a food court in the Anchorage Mall (about 4 blocks away)

I'm sure they'll take a reservation for you - use the email link on their page. But I doubt they'd be too full if you're arriving early-ish in the dinner hour. But better safe than sorry I suppose.

 

From Aladdin's it's a straight shot down Tudor to Minnesota and the airport - maybe 15 min. max.

 

We'll probably just call earlier that day - if they won't take a reservation we can drop back to one of the other recommendations that do take reservations. We'll probably want to eat around 6:30 so we have plenty of time - I love food too much to want to be rushed. :D

I think that Fletchers is one of the best kept secrets in Anchorage. It is a bistro which is located in the lobby of the Captain Cook.
