Parking Garage Q. Ft. Lauderdale for Allure

Anybody have a visual of how far the parking garage is to the Allure terminal? I am trying to decide if I want to pay the premium to park there or not. I do a have a black car and keeping it out of the sun for the week, would be nice.

No garage when we were there last May. There was a surface lot with plenty of parking and it is right next to the terminal.

The parking garage at Port Everglades is down by the convention center and would be a long way to walk with luggage or even without luggage back to the Allure terminal. I know I wouldn't want to hassle with walking it.

Really? The Port Everglades website says their are two parking garages, unless I am mis-interperting the webiste.

 

Is the Allure at terminal 18 or something? Where is that??? I swear we parked at a parking garage when we took the Navigator out of here a couple of years ago???

Parking at Port Everglades

 

Convenient parking for cruise passengers is available in the Northport and Midport Parking Garages and the Midport Surface Lot between Terminals 18 and 19. All Port public garages and surface lots:

• Well-illuminated
  
• Security-patrolled
  
• Provide disabled parking with unimpeded access to crosswalks and elevators. Please see disabled parking section on this page for further details.
  

Northport Parking Garage

The 2500-space Northport garage (soon expanding to 4,250 spaces) services:

• Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center
  
• Northport cruise terminals including Cruise Terminals 1, 2 & 4.
  

Entrance: Turn south on Eisenhower Blvd. from 17th Street Causeway, or come east on State Road 84, entering the Port and turning left at Eisenhower Blvd.

From I-595, go east straight into the Port. Follow signs for Terminals #1, 2 & 4 and/or the Convention Center.

Midport Parking Garage

The 2000-space Midport garage services:

• Cruise Midport Cruise Terminals 19, 21, 22/24, 25, 26, 27 and 29.
  

Entrance: Take I-595 east straight into the Port. Continue heading east to the garage on the left side of the street.

 

Midport Surface Lots

Cruise Terminal 18 has its own 600-space surface parking lot adjacent to the terminal.

We have NEVER EVER parked at the pier in Ft. Lauderdale, we always use the Park n' Fly located very very close to the pier. Excellent service and excellent price. We drop off our car and the shuttle bus is right there and it takes you to the front of the terminal entrance. We tip the driver, because he handles our bags, however, that amount of money is worth it to be dropped off in front of the terminal. Also, the price is $7.99 per day when you pay up front! They also have handicap services.

The midport garage is just to the east of terminal 19. In the map below, the parking garage is at the bottom right and you can see the bow of the Oasis (or Allure) along the left. You can zoom out for a wider perspective. It is quite a bit cheaper to park outside the port at Park N Fly or Park N Go, but if you want the garage, it's pretty close.
