Catamaran tour to Pitons - motion sickness?

This tour sounds very appealing (already did long land excursion on previous St Lucia stop years ago). My only concern is the only other time I was on a catamaran was a tour in St Martin going to St. Barts. I got seasick on the way down, although was fine on the return. Appreciate any feedback re "calmness" of trip & such. Thanks.

just returned today from spending 7 days in St Lucia ziplining, sailing to Pitons, visiting Rodney Bay and renting a catamaran. We sailed one day (Land + Sea) and rent a cat another day: We booked with the MOORINGS (ask for LYN and Captain SAM) in Marigot Bay - he's awesome and will cater to your needs ...he took us down to Pitons, stopping f snorkeling and secluded beaches but not cheap, it is $ 600.00 for the charter - if it is for 6-8 people might work. I had no motion sickness issues w the cat staying close to the island but would definitely not sail again.progress.gif

I just got back from a tour to Jalousie Beach and ended up taking a catamaran for the hour-plus ride back to the ship, and I experienced absolutely no motion sickness at all, and I am a rather prone. It was smooth, but not too smooth. I will bet you will be just fine!
